The end of the season

Nathan my oldest who graduates in June ( I can't believe it!!!) played his last High School soccer game on Tuesday. The team made it into the CIF(Finals) and played in Garden Grove(CA). Unfortunatly they lost so they are out : ( I finally took out Mr.Canon and got some pictures of him (oh and hes that handsome guy with the bright Orange jersey on and yes he is the Goalie).

Good Morning everyone!!!

My morning started as usual kids are off at school and hubby off to work.
When I dropped off Xavier at school I always have a cup
(the 1 in the photo)
with me. As i returned home I needed a refill.
I took off the lid, added coffee, added sugar
(and I use regular sugar that sweetnlow stuff taste NASTY!)
added Albertsons half n half(YUM!)
and stirred. As I put my spoon down and went to grab the lid
LOOK what I saw

From My Family to Yours!!!
I made these little round balls of cake on a stick, they are actually called Cake Pops(google Bakerella) last night and I had to finish. I stayed up till midnight dipping them in melted chocolate and sprinkles(Xaviers favorite:Sprinkles). Boy these little cake pops are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO delicious.

As a scrapbooker I want to document every minute of my wonderful children lives. Xavier will allow me to do this, now the other two are to big and I am being a pest by following them around takin pics. So Xavier will just have to do.
1.Turn music on to wake him up(which is really a tough task)
2.Give kisses to wake him up other wise I hear" I'm still tired, It's cold" basically any excuse he can come up with!
3.Finally dressed and eatin some cereal. You know I have tried every kind of breakfast meals but no he wants cold cereal. Ok on a rare occasion he will have oatmeal.

Was last weekend for Nathan. It was held at the Richard NIxon Library and his date was his girlfriend (M).
He went with another couple and were fortunate to get a free ride in an Extended Hummer(he was very exited about riding around in a Hummer!)

They went out to dinner Chick fil a (the girls picked it) and then off to the dance. He said he had a great time!!!

Valentine wall decoration

This will be the very 1st time decrorating for Valentines.
I love valentines, love the colors and all the hearts! Makes my heart smile :)
This frame was just about to be thrown out to the trash.
The frame was all scratched up and was coming apart.
I decided to scratch the frame up some more with sand paper and the 1 corner where it was coming apart I grab my hot glue gun
(which is My favorite tool now)
and glued it backed together.
I took the glass out because I wasnt sure if the weight of the glass would make the frame come apart again.
And Tadaa a beautful new frame.
I stamped some hearts, cut them out and attached.
Added some patterned paper and ofcourse the cute lil bird.
That I got at Michael's in the dollar bin (24 lil birds in a box).
The sentiment is a stamp that I got from the dollar bin at Michaels also. Tied a peice of bakers twine.
Hot glued the Valentine/Heart ribbon to the back of the frame and hung!

Here is the info i said i was going to post. Sorry it took me a bit longer. I got back with my lil one and Nate had a soccer game that I had to get him to last minute. we had 45 mins to get him there (but was only suppose to take 20-30 min to get there) but with wonderful so cal traffic it took 1 hr and 20 min!!!! Poor kid got there 10 min before the game started.
unfortunatlty it was a lost.

As I type Xavier has decided he wants to sit in my lap and give me hugs.... what a sweet boy :)

O.K now off to play with Photoshop...... maybe I might just jump in bead with the wonderful sleeping hubby. I know he is nice and warm under the blankets and I am cold right now cuz our computer sits right next to a window and I AM COLD!!!

New Layout:Nate and our sweet kitty Sammy. Sammy is not your typical cat, he does not like to be held or sit in your lap and be petted. He prefers to hide under someones bed or in someones closet and just sleep,sleep and sleep.

Our family loves to go to San pedro and eat shrimp and fish ohhhh and you can't forget the Churros that are filled with yummy delicioious filling of your choice. Xavier on the other hand just gets fries and all sorts of sweets instead.

This Halloween we walked around our neighborhood and the kids got a good amount of candy.
Hugo was this skull monster guy(got at walmart). Older Kids and some parents thought it was cool, the little kids were scared of him(Hugo was such a sweetheart when someone was scared he would take his mask off and show them his face).
Xavier was Mario this yr. He knew from the get go what he wanted to be this year. I am so happy that walmart had the costume and at a resonable price. I just will NOT spend more that $25 for a costume.
And for my Nathan, he just went walking around with his friends.

So that is it I am all caught up!!! PHEW..................
Next is some new layouts I''ve been working on.
I have thanksgiving cards to show but I don't want to spoil it for the people who are receiving them.
So I will show them later.
Now I am planning for Xmas cards.

Xavier played AYSO this year and the season just ended this saturday.
He had fun which was to be expected but what surprised me was that he wanted to play goalie the whole game.

While my better half was napping me and my sweet crazy Xavier took some funny pictures of ourselves.

They have a bunch of these rock piles. Big ones little ones it was pretty cool!
The fog rolled in and it looked pretty eerie.

O.k now about the SEAGULLS.
We made a huge a mistake about feeding 1 seagull a chip. We, the family then decided to go for a stroll.
We were enjoying the scenery, the water and sand in our toes and THEN we looked back to where our stuff was(which was chairs, cooler, and a beach bag with our munchies in it) there was a zillion(ok really not that many) of seagulls all over our stuff!!!
Hugo and Nathan ran as fast as they could too see what was going on.
Well that 1 seagull that I gave a chip decided to go tell all his seagull friends and ransacked all our chips and munchies!!!

But it was so fun. Hugo did not want to go with me on theis ride at 1st but then he changed his mide. Than I told him that I was going to pick level 5 and he pleaded with me to do level 3 (You get to choose what level you want) I said "Heck NO" so I went on my own. It was so much fun. Xavier couldnt wait to get on another ride. He was so excited!!!

But we decided to take another route to Driving School. Ok when Hugo starts driving am not going to worry but Xavier on the other had, OMG that dude swerved all over the place bumped people. And over the intercom they kept repeating stay on the right side of the lane! I wonder if the were talking to my son? I think SO!

This is the veiw from our lil car we were riding in. You had to pedal the whole way or the car would stop. I didnt believe it at 1st so me and Hugo stopped pedaling and we came to a HALT!

LOOK no Braces but I do have my retainer in, I have to wear it ALL day . How does anyone talk with their retainer. I cant I sound so SILLY!!! Maybe I will just keep my mouth shut. Yeah if you know me That aint gonna happen!!!

And our destination was LEGOLAND Carlsbad Ca. The drive was great no traffic, got to Camp Pendleton and veiws of the beach I wish we could had a 3 day weekend but 2 days was what we had. We hit up Legoland 1st and the next spent at LL Waterpark.

Ofcourse I had to have the guys pose but ofcourse someone had to close his eyes!

This lil area is cute as you stp on the circles on the ground water comes out of the insturments. Xavier REALLY got a kick out of it!

Hugo really did fall asleep. Then again he falls asleep everytime we get in the car! He got some reading done before his nap. He has suprised me this year he never liked to read but he found the Percy Jackson series and he read that already now his on to the Kane Chronicles By the same author Rick Riordan. This new book The Red Pyramid is over 500 pgs!!! i am so Happy he had become a reader. I really hope this stays with him.

Now at our destination we had the Volvo family welcome us. Arent they so cute!

Got up Thursday Morning not to early 630am got ready then got the kids ready, loaded the accord with 1 luggage (yes for all four of us)
got everyone in and went to the local Starbucks, which for us is in an Albertsons.

got 2 large cups of YUMMY coffee to really wake me/both of us up got some Mc d's Breakfast for the kids. I dont know why but mc D's breakfast does not like my stomach. Now HAPPY Fries, Yes that is what I call McDs Fries. HAPPY FRIES! YUM!!! is ok with my stomach

David had me take a picture of the San Onofre Nuclear Plant. There are actually 2 of these round things. Use your imagination.

As we drove Xavier supposdly feel asleep, He had me fooled!!! Ok his bear is still with us. Thanks to his Tio YOshio and if you recall he coulnt decide on a name. Well still NO name. Actually technically it does "MY BEAR " Poor lil thing. Now look closely his shirt is backwards and inside out. Why might u ask? well because remember I gave him Mc d's for Breakfast, I didnt bring him another shirt to change into incase he spilled. which he didnt :)

bottle caps & Ranger inks

Well I collect beer bottle caps ( I prefer Corona or XX) and needed to do something with them I have collected way too many!!! So this is where I am at. I punched a 1" circle out of Patterned Paper (u could use a solid color too) glued inside of cap added a letter. I am using the saying LIVE LAUGH LOVE. Next I filled with Glossy Accent (found at J's or M's) becareful u don't get bubbles if u do just pop with needle or safety pin. Now wait till GA dries. I would wait 12-24 hrs. I will post pictures when done. Now the possibilities are endless. you could use on a layot, as a home decor item, you could adhere to a leather belt or make a braclet. Endless possibilities!!!

I made my own Glimmer Mists. GM are all the RAVE right now. They are great and so cool to work with but I cant buy anywhere unless online. Now you can youtube how to make your GM but let me tell they are so EASy to make.

You will need:
ink(alcohol/pigment)
perfect pearls(use ur couponsfrom j's/m's/AAbros)
little water spray bottles(I used mini misters by Ranger)
water
popsicle stick/plactic knife

Now fill the the bottle with water but make sure to leave enough space to be able to shake/roll the bottle.
add ink (1 good squirt/if you want the color to be darker add more)
add a scoop of Perfect Pearls
close lid and shake/roll

Now protect your surface before you spray your paper and/or flower. I just use an old box that i got from Sams.
I am working on a layout with these sprays so I will post when done.

Happpiness

Well I am going to ramble on and on and on. I am giving you a warning.

I was reading another blog and they were talking about finding happiness in the little things of our everyday lives. And It got me thinking.....

right now I find happiness in watching my 3 boys swimming till I have to drag them out and having them ask me if they can jump in JUST 1 more time!!! Really how can I tell them NO!!!

My happiness is also in a cold cup of Iced Tea. Homemade or McD's!!!

I have recently found happiness in teaching other people to scrapbook. I love to see someones face glow with happiness because they completed their 1st scrapbook page.

Xavier loves to sleep with his mommy when daddy cannot come home from work. Shhhhh dont tell Xavier but when he is asleep I love to just stare at him.

My heart sings eventhough I am asleep when DH leaves to work at 4am and he kisses me goodbye.

Ok I could think of more but you get the point.
anyways Hugo needs me to drop him off at a dance.

OC Fair 2010

This ws the 1st time Me and the Family have been to the OC Fair in Costa Mesa Ca And we had a BLAST. The kids were in Heaven the food was delicious. Me and DH tried a deep fried snicker!!! OMG was it good. They had chocolate coverd bacon and no I did not try it. Maybe the next time. But I definetly want to try a deep fried Oreo.

Now the kids are officially on summer break. This year no year round school they are stuck with me till aug 30th.
I can already forsee the summer flying by with Nathan playing 3 games of soccer a week till the end of july. that will definatly keep us busy. So you all know what that means for all you all... Yeah tons of soccer pictures!!! Just playin, We've gone to 4 games so far and have not takin 1 picture!!! What is wrong with me??? But definatly in july you will see pics of Hugo's Pool Party. He is turning 12. WOW 12! Oh yeah at Hugos promotion I had a revelation that 2 yrs from now I will have 1 graduating from High School and 1 moving into High School. Ok that is a really BIG WOW!!!

well you all take care I am off to put shark to bed and me too. Tomorrow nowhere to go so plans are to watch the world cup and then hit the pool and just enjoy a day of nowhere to go and nowhere to be!!!

The school does not make a big deal for kinder graduation but the teacher did hand out awards.

Hugo was in a Myth Play on the 17th. It was quite funny. They put a hip current twist to it. Like I said it was funny and very entertaining!! Oh but what the heck, we could not Hugos togo to stay on him. he wouldn't let me figure it out. He know how to do it!!!
He ended up having to hold up. Which drove me insane!!! But hey he had fun and that is what matters.

nathan had a blast fishing. he found a good size rock sat and threw out his line and fished and fished and fished. He also caught about 9 or 10 fish. We didnt keep any just threw them back in and watched them swim away. This spot where we fished was about a 2 min walk from our campsite and we could here the water raging when we went to sleep and when we woke. Oh it was so peaceful. None of us wanted to come home. If only this place had a shower. But even then I would go back to this place in a heartbeat. As you can tell I had a blast and loved it here. Oh and it is so beautiful.

Xavier 6th Bday pics

We didnt do anything big. But we did take Xavier to eat some ribs from Lucilles. Grabed a cake from Sams (this is our favorite cake!) sang Happy Bday at home oh yeah we sang to him at luciells also. and started getting ready for school the next day.

This day was suppose to be all about Xavier but Hugo had to go hurt his arm before school even started. He was at school early and playing hand ball and jammed his arm in the wall. i got the phone call from the school and I hurried over to assest the situation and he was is some serious pain. left the school got on the phone with Kaiser(docs) and was able to get him seen in a hour which gave me time to get to Fontana (which let me tell you isnt around the corner). We or should I say he was fortunate the arm is NOT broken but he did sprain it. he had to wear a half cast(looks just like a reagular cast but cut in half ) that he can take off but is suppose to wear all the time. Ok as I tell this story this was like 2weeks ago and now he isnt wearing the cast anymore and is back to 100%. He officially is not in the clear atleast not till friday when he has his follow up. I didnt get any pics of his arm but in these pics he does have the cast on I wonder now if he was hiding it.

My last lil baby boy is 6, reading on his own, writing sentences and about to graduate from Kinder. :(

Us at Disneyland. Who says that a 16 yr old cant have fun on the Teacups. It was fun for Nathan because he was attempting to make his mom(me) puke!!!

was so cool. i am so HAPPY we stayed to watch it. We were exhausted at this point and were so ready to go home. I cant remember when was the last time I saw this parade. Worth the wait. The boys asked me who that Green Dragon was ??? lol

were the spooky hotel ride(this is what Xavier called it) we got on it twice and Xavier loved this ride I think if we would of let him he would of just got on it all day. The Toy story ride was really a good interactive ride. FUN!

Ok how cool is Mr Potato Head. This ride was so much fun worth the 45 min wait.

from the warm weather with a nice cold ice cream. Thurday weather was in the mid 80's so it was pretty warm. oh I forgt to share in the earlier pics that Xavier got a kick out of the Monster Inc ride. He was so amazed. Also went in the 3d Muppet show too. Ok that was so funny and cute. Brought me back to my younger days!!! My Mrs. Piggy days. Mom you know what I am talking about!!!

Ca Adventure

On Wed we took a day off and stayed home and did nothing. Thursday we headed out to California Adventure. I have to say that I prefer Ca adventure. It is so less stressful than Disneyland. Yes I know it's" Disneyland" but still. We got on the Soarn Ca ride which was really cool. Oh and Xavier really liked the Mullholund ride ( a mini fast zippidy rollar coaster ride).
