Last weekend Hugo had his very 1st beach soccer tournament playing for Arsenal Futball club. The tournament was held in Oceanside, Ca which was about 1 hour from our home. The drive was good we didn't get any traffic. So we lucked out especially living in Cali. Hugo had so much fun playing soccer competitively on sand. I don't know how those kids do it, I have a hard just walking in the sand barefooted. We ended up buying Hugo these socks to wear during the game he seemed to like them better than wearing nothing on his feet.
Day 1 of the tournament we had to be there early which was a blessing because parking was very limited so we lucked out. Hugo had 2 games and after that we let the kids go swim. Than the club had a BBQ which was so delicious. I loved the guacamole!!! After that we went home unloaded the vehicle and reloaded for day 2.
On day 2 Hugo had 2 more games and than we headed home. It was a bit chilly the wind was cold! We stopped and ate @ In n Out and headed home. The whole experience was great and can't wait till next year and this time we are going to stay @ a condo right across the street from the beach!!!
